Many think that the commandments are no longer valid or needed, but that is not true. The commandments show us God's heart; and the holy scriptures tell us that there is blessing in keeping them. There is also responsibility to protect and teach them since we have been made part of the priesthood.
When you think of yourself, what kind of descriptions do you think of? Because more than likely they are not how God would describe you. We can be very negative towards ourselves, but we must remember that God has a plan for us and he will be faithful to complete it.
Not only are we a new creation, not only are we seated above in heavenly places, not only are we redeemed and adopted, but we have been given power! We have so much power in us we have no idea what is possible. It is time for us to get to the power that we have been given.
